What clients say…

Paul is without a doubt the best photographer I have worked with for our conferences. We are continually impressed by his visions, communications, and ability to become an essential extension to our on-site team. Wherever there is action and intrigue you will always find Paul there ready to capture it. His ability to produce photographs in real time for social media and press is unlike any other. If you are an event planner we highly recommend hiring Paul to capture your event, he will exceed all your expectations and then some.

Paul Clarke is incredible. He covers all Tech City News events. The reason for this is he knows exactly what I am after, and always delivers so much more. I trust his judgement implicitly and so there is rarely any need for lengthy briefs. He just gets on with it, quietly in the background. He’s a perfectionist with ridiculous energy levels and his turnaround on projects is phenomenal. I never tire of recommending him to others.

Becky Golland, Associate Publisher, Tech City News

From the first interaction with Paul, it was clear that he would be the right photographer for our unique event, which combined a product launch with the UK’s first zombie wedding. Paul was professional and enthusiastic, and immediately understood the requirements of the event; striking the balance between capturing the essence of the wedding, and brilliantly showcasing the product.

We required a quick turnaround of the images, which Paul delivered well within our deadline, and to the highest of standards. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Paul on this project, and he will definitely be our first port of call for future events.

Rosie Topps, Dead Good Media

Paul is an incredible and unique photographer. He has worked with us on Silicon Milkroundabout and other tech events and there is simply no one else I would recommend more highly for professionalism, quality of work, style of shots and quick and efficient delivery. One in a million.

Cristiana Camisotti, Studio Camisotti

Paul Clarke is amazing. He consistently manages to capture the vibe of our events and get sets of the pictures curated, edited and accessible online before the event is over, with all the hi res versions delivered soon after. A thoroughly professional and personal service, we can’t recommend Paul highly enough. On top of all that, he’s a really nice guy and even looks great with a beard!

Joe Scarboro, Operations Director, 3 Beards

Paul joined us to capture our summer barbeque event that we hold for colleagues and their families at Pfizer. With the slimmest of briefs, Paul literally wowed us with the images he produced–perfectly portraying the story of the day. From the crowds at the science show to the face-painted children, Paul travelled around the event so gently he was invisible to colleagues as he captured them at their most natural. The quality of images Paul captured for us were on a different level to previous years, as he really caught the energy and emotion of the event. He was a pleasure to work with–a smart photographer with a truly intuitive eye for the special moments. I recommend Paul wholeheartedly.

Emma Berry, Head of Internal Communications, Pfizer UK

To say I find posing for the camera awkward would be an understatement. Yet the time came when an upcoming book publication required some new photographs. Having been familiar with and impressed by Paul’s work for some time, I asked him if he would take them. It was an intense but rewarding afternoon as he kept up an endless stream of conversation whilst perched on chairs, moving lamps, finding props and locations, and generally putting me at ease.

With a camera shy subject, photos can often be static, capturing just the moment confidence fails in front of the lens but Paul’s physical energy and improvisation mean the results are never ordinary, often surprising. He produced exactly the required photograph in the perfect place, The London Library.

If you need an image that reflects what you do and who you are, get in touch with Paul.

Having been introduced at a partners event we have used Paul Clarke at a variety of our in-house events. We were very impressed at his efficiency and his ability to capture the spirit of the event and the gallery. I would highly recommend Paul Clarke to peers and clients in the future.

Andrea Ziemer, Development Events Coordinator, Whitechapel Gallery

We hired Paul to take some photos of one of our Management Training Workshops that could be used in a new website and promotional literature. This was our first experience of using Paul and our arrangements were very last minute after another photographer let us down so there was a “fingers crossed” moment waiting for the photos to come through. We needn’t have worried, Paul was an absolute professional and the results were fantastic.

Paul is now our preferred photographer for any photo shoots in and around London.

Ade Lewis, Director, Teapot Creative

I hired Paul for the Open Gov Summit event in May 2012. Paul is one of those rare photographers who is NOT just a photographer. He is a professional, personable, fun and most importantly reliable individual to work with. His creative work speaks for itself.

What puts Paul far above and beyond other photographers is that he understands what is needed from a demanding event and delivers social media services to create opportunities for the event itself. It’s important to have Hi-Res photos available instantly online so journalists and bloggers can access them immediately for publication. This also helps other online attendees to experience the same ambience as those in the room during the event itself.

Some photographers takes days to deliver pictures, but Paul delivered all the pictures from an 8 hour/full day shoot, on the same day itself! If you’re thinking of hiring Paul, don’t hesitate for a second, he is the BEST! I highly recommend him.

Brand Perfect is all about innovation, energy, attention to detail and delivery. Paul captured those values by delivering exciting, innovative shots that told the story of our day…perfectly! From the point of engagement, Paul added tremendous value by anticipating our needs, working brilliantly with the rest of the team and putting all the participants at ease immediately. We won’t hesitate to ask Paul to shoot our next event.

Julie Strawson, Director of Marketing, Monotype Imaging

I called in Paul to support the coverage of the Government Digital Service launch. It was a hugely important event for us, and I needed someone who would know exactly what I wanted without much prompting. Paul was perfect. He knew a lot of the people there, and was a naturally gifted photographer with a flair for finding a unique shot.

We had some amazing photos and a video which was commissioned about two minutes beforehand. Paul didn’t bat an eyelid. A true professional.

Abigail Peel, Government Digital Service, Cabinet Office

Paul photographed the launch of our first Social Brands 100. Not only do we have a beautifully shot record of the day, but because Paul was continually uploading images, we had fantastic visuals to bring the discussion to life online while the event was taking place. It added a whole other social dimension to the experience that helped amplify our research even further. In addition to the high standard of his work, Paul is a real pleasure to work with.

Maeve O’Sullivan, Content Director, Headstream

Industry events might be packed with exciting speakers, but usually spawn boring photographs. Paul Clarke has unrivaled experience documenting the conference scene in a way that is fresh, nuanced and stylish. He even finds a way to make people standing in front of Powerpoint look good–pure genius.

Candace Kuss, Director of Planning / Interactive Strategy EMEA, Hill & Knowlton

Paul Clarke did the photography for “Move over IPv4, Bring on IPv6” at The London Transport Museum in Covent Garden. Guests flew in from the USA and Europe to be part of the action and “Internet” minister Ed Vaizey gave an opening speech. The museum proved to be a great backdrop for the party but more importantly the quality of Paul’s photography and his use of the setting were outstanding. He was able to catch guests during unposed moments that really should be considered as works of art rather than mere photographic snapshots of the evening.

These photos will provide us all with a lasting record of what was a memorable and historic night and I can enthusiastically recommend Paul to anyone looking to record an event in pictures.

Trefor Davies, Chief Technology Officer, Timico Ltd

Paul was top of our list when we were seeking a photographer to capture the essence of our high-profile annual conference. A few of our team had seen his work from the Likeminds conferences and the UKGovCamps. We loved the way his photographs really gave the viewer a sense of the energy from the event and we liked the way they weren’t corporate or stuffy or formal.

For your “big” day, Paul is unobtrusive and manages to be everywhere at once. He edits and processes his work quickly and it’s back for you to use in a matter of hours. I’d recommend him highly, whatever you are planning.
