One of my very favourite clients is the Heatherley School of Fine Art. They do some fantastic events throughout the year, and January marks the exhibition of work by the staff in the Bankside Gallery.
For a photographer, supposedly there to demonstrate skills with composition and light, the job definitely comes with a bit of pressure to make good art for great artists.
The ice sculpture seems to be a tradition now, and I love the bit at the end when it’s marched to the river bank for ceremonial dispatch. (One day the tide might even be right for it to float away in style…)
These are my favourites, using the great available light and lots of laughter.
